  • What is SUPERNOVA?
    SUPERNOVA is a new Theatre Company started by a group of artists from New York and Ohio.


  • What type of work does SUPERNOVA focus on?
    We focus on the creation and production of New Works. Our New Works to date focus on Classical and Contemporary Human Rights Issues. During a performance we want the audience to have a strong relationship with the production they are viewing. Direct Address is often used casting the audience in the play. We want them to be inspired, not just in awe with spectacle.


  • Can I join the Ensemble?
    Yes! If you would like to volunteer/intern on a particular production just fill out a contact form under CONTACT US. We will review your request and conduct an interview for those serious in participating.


  • What is "STRIPPER"?
    Imagine a mystical nightclub where two women who grew up together now dance. One loves her job one doesn't. They fantasize about what it was like for female dancers of the past and encourage the audience to dream with them. While they dream of the past, sometimes performing it for the audience. "Stripper" attempts to expose the relationship between dancer and patron using the audience. We have based these women's funny and violent story on actual events. Rated R for adult themes and language.


  • What is "Lincoln and The Hard Road to Jubilee"?
    A One-Man/One-Act Show: Abraham Lincoln struggles with the horror of war and the problems and promise of emancipation.
