ABILITY, VERSATILITY, & TRUTH
What is the purpose of theatre?
To take the pain, happiness, love, anger, raw emotion from the streets, homes, minds, wars, childhood memories, and haunts-put these stories into a space and breathe life onto them.
True stories are the ones that evoke change. Their resolution should change someone's life, someone's mind, someone's hate, something will click in someone's head.
Theatre is alive. Theatre should give a child magic, a mother freedom from her worry, a father that son he always wanted, a grandmother the return of her young husband from years past.
Theatre should give us what we don't have now.
What we want now.
Who we want to be now.
Who we want now.
Theatre is the present. The moment at hand to breathe and exist in. To watch the past come back to life. To see the future and its revelations. To see the mistakes made in both. With theatre we can exist in the past or future presently, or we can just exist. It should allow us both.
Theatre is life. To create this life we need words, direction, and decoration. We have to see the words, wear the words, stand and sit on the words. With decoration the intent, context, and concept are able to scream to us and say where the words live. Knowing this we can bring the nightmares, the memories, the hatred, the jealousy, the love to life honestly.
Truth should be at the center of theatre. Truth helps theatre succeed and be specific. Stories must be written from truth. Human success or failure must be a truth. If you produce false forms of theatre that aren't truthful to its own context you will fail.
The dearest most magnificent theatre, the theatre you watch and can't look away from, that theatre which is so powerful you don't know you are in a theatre, is the theatre that if you broke open it's shell there would be blood, a real beating heart, veins, a ray of bright white light, energy coming from it's core. You must find this core to find the truth.
Through theatre we have a responsibility to reach other parts of the world. We must reach people who don't know, who can't see, who can't hear the power of theatre.
We must make theatre accessible to all.
Its magic should be able to travel everywhere to everyone. Imagination can exist on stage, not just in a child's mind. We must find that child in that corner of the world and show them the magic of theatre. When we find their voice, their story, the colors of their imagination then we have an obligation to share these discoveries with the rest of the world. We must bring awareness of all the human differences that make the reflection of life on stage so valuable. We must share theatre with everyone. Theatre can show other cultures who else exists in the universe and how our imaginations, beliefs, our gods are all from the same core: the human core.
It is our job to make sure theatre will never end.
ART is for those who can't see.
ART lives for those who are free.
We will continue to be free from ignorance.
We will be open to the truth of the human experience.
Our company's objective is to create New Works about our own experiences as young people in a world littered with war, poverty, and reality television or the influx of multi-media as the primary source of information.
We also want to contemporize existing plays for young audiences so they can embrace classical themes but understand some of the repetitive historical concepts and plots in life.

We are a group of young, versatile artists who strive to create truthful New Works that will give the audience a theme, a character to relate to. We are a group of young, versatile designers who can give a voice to media as a form or character in a space. We want to contribute to the New Work genre. As young versatile artists we want to honor the contemporary plays for young audiences but add a present day media-induced design. A design that can communicate to the new minds of the young audience member. The fast-paced image addicted young adult who would benefit from more theatre but needs it translated differently.
